Currently — November 14, 2023: Your thoughts on the future of weather forecasting

Help us shape our all-new weather service.

The weather, currently.

In order for the new Currently Weather Service to live up to our hype, I want to ask for everyone’s pre-launch thoughts one last time.

This survey will be part of the baseline data we’ll use to build the weather service around the community’s needs and make sure it’s something people love to use. Completing the quick survey will also put you first in line to try out the new weather service yourself.

Could you take this two-minute survey right now to help us understand what your dream weather service might be like? Thank you so much to each of you who have already responded.

The launch version of the weather service dropping later this week is just the beginning. We want to continually improve this service in direct response to what people actually need and how people are using it. And, as you’ll quickly see, the suggestions folks have already made are fantastic. Keep ‘em comin’.

What you can do, currently.

While we’re gearing up for some exciting announcements later this week(!!), a quick shout out to all of Currently’s local weather newsletter writers — they cover the weather daily with charm and loads of regional weather knowledge.

Currently has begun to partner with other like-minded newsletters to help the growth of independent climate media — we receive financial support for each new subscriber we can recruit, so check them out!
